WR Michael Gallup intends to come out of retirement, wants to play for 撸先生AV team in 2025

Michael Gallup is suiting back up in 2025.

After abruptly retiring last offseason, the 29-year-old receiver intends to make a comeback, 撸先生AV Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported on Friday.

Gallup began his career in Dallas, where he enjoyed a breakout season in 2019, catching 66 passes for a career-best 1,107 receiving yards and six touchdowns. Gallup followed that up with a 59-catch 2020 season, finishing with 843 yards and five touchdowns in 16 games.

An ACL injury ended his 2021 season and limited him in 2022, and he fell further down the depth chart in 2023 while still managing to catch 34 passes for 418 yards and two touchdowns. With two seasons' worth of proof he might never rediscover his previous form, the Cowboys allowed Gallup to leave in free agency, leading Gallup to sign a one-year deal with the Raiders before retiring roughly three months later at 28 years old.

At his best, Gallup was a consistent playmaker and paired nicely with CeeDee Lamb for a season before Gallup's knee injury upended his future. Now, he's hoping the time off to fully recover will be enough to help him find an 撸先生AV home and resume catching passes. In a receiver market that has been and will continue to be busy, we'll see if Gallup can break through, land with a team and give it another go.
