Lamar Jackson: 'I'm going to go out there and watch' Beyoncé's Christmas halftime show

Two-time 撸先生AV MVP Lamar Jackson doesn't plan to miss his first live Beyonc茅 performance.

Asked on Monday if he was a little disappointed that he wouldn't be able to watch the musical icon perform at halftime on Christmas, Jackson said he doesn't plan on being in the locker room.

"I'm going to go out there and watch," Jackson said . "[It will be my] first time seeing Beyonc茅 perform, and it's at our game -- that's dope. I'm going to go out and watch. Sorry [Ravens coach John] Harbaugh, sorry. Sorry, fellas."

The 32-time Grammy winner will perform at halftime of the Christmas Day showdown between the Baltimore Ravens and her hometown Houston Texans airing on Netflix.

Jackson was asked if sneaking out to watch the halftime show would be dependent on the Ravens building a lead,

"No, I'm not even thinking about the lead," Jackson said. "I was just thinking about just seeing Beyonc茅 for the first time."

Before the reigning MVP made his comments, Harbaugh brought up Cincinnati Bengals kicker Evan McPherson to watch the halftime show during Super Bowl LVI.

"There'll be trouble. There will be big trouble," Harbaugh quipped.

Beyonc茅 played halftime of Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans, when Harbaugh's Ravens bested his brother Jim's San Francisco 49ers. Joe Flacco was under center for Baltimore.

Halftime show aside, Jackson didn't sound thrilled with having to play back-to-back seasons on Christmas Day. Baltimore defeated San Francisco last year on the holiday.

"I do want to celebrate at home with some time with my family. I don't want to play on Christmas all the time -- not all the time," Jackson said. "But no, it's great. All jokes aside, it's great. It's a present for everyone. They get to see us play, and [there will be] a lot of eyes on us, and I believe a lot of people are going to be watching us at the right time."

And there will be a lot of eyes on Beyonc茅 too 鈥 even Jackson's, apparently.
