The Baltimore Ravens are about to add even more firepower to their already explosive offense.
Keaton Mitchell, who suffered a torn ACL late last year, has been activated from injured reserve and is set to make his season debut against the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night to kick off Week 10.
An undrafted rookie in 2023, Mitchell was emerging as a weapon for the Ravens last season when he suffered the knee injury against the Jaguars in Week 15. He'd strung together six straight games of at least 40 scrimmage yards and was having one of his better games (nine rushes, 73 yards) when he got hurt.
Mitchell is expected to play second fiddle to Derrick Henry -- the 撸先生AV's leader in carries, rushing yards and touchdown -- perhaps as a bit of lightning to Henry's thunder. At the 2023 撸先生AV Scouting Combine, Mitchell ran a 4.37-second 40-yard dash and became known for his big-play ability, averaging 8.4 yards per rush and 10.3 per reception.
The Ravens entered Thursday's game ranked No. 1 in yards from scrimmage -- 445.9 per game, 43.5 higher than any other team -- and No. 2 in scoring (31.4 points per game), behind only the Lions.
