Two of the Detroit Lions' top offensive options are good to go for Thanksgiving.
Running back David Montgomery and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown are each active for the Lions' turkey tussle with the visiting Chicago Bears.
Though St. Brown (knee) and Montgomery (shoulder) garnered questionable designations, both were full participants in Wednesday's practice and Dan Campbell indicated they were expected to play earlier in the week.
So, Montgomery, the Lions' leader in rushing touchdowns, and St. Brown, Detroit's leader in receiving TDs, will be available as their team aims to win its 10th straight game while snapping the franchise's seven-season losing streak on Thanksgiving.
Montgomery has scored 11 times on the ground this season, posting 632 rushing yards on 145 carries to form a terrific backfield tandem with Jahmyr Gibbs (886 rushing yards, 10 TDs).
Thursday will also mark Montgomery's third time playing his former team, the Bears. He averaged 6.45 yards per carry in two matchups last year, gaining 142 yards and scoring once. While the Lions are looking to break their streak of Thanksgiving tumult, Montgomery has actually won twice on the holiday, contributing to the current losing streak with wins as a member of the Bears in 2019 and 2021.
St. Brown has maintained his status as one of the ߣÏÈÉúAV's preeminent wideouts this year, racking up nine TDs so far this season to go with 71 receptions for 747 yards.
St. Brown, Montgomery and the Lions (10-1) kick off against the Bears (4-7) at 12:30 p.m. ET Thursday, beginning the annual ߣÏÈÉúAV Thanksgiving tripleheader.
