Eagles WR A.J. Brown says he's 'playing' vs. Commanders despite knee injury

A.J. Brown popped up on the injury report this week but he won't miss Sunday's showdown with the Washington Commanders.

"I'm playing," Brown said Friday after a lengthy pause when he was asked in the locker room about the injury.

Brown added that the injury won't affect how he plays Sunday.

The star receiver was added to the injury report on Thursday with a knee/rest designation. He was limited in practice Thursday and Friday but has no game designation ahead of Philly's Week 16 game.

Coach Nick Sirianni was mum about Brown's status earlier in the day, saying, "We'll see," when asked if the wideout would practice on Friday. Brown was, indeed, seen on the practice field with teammates.

The wideout, who missed three games earlier in the season due to a hamstring injury and exited early in Week 9's win over Jacksonville with a knee issue, said he wasn't sure how the recent knee injury popped up. He noted, however, that no one is fully healthy at this point of the football season.

"I was fine after the game, fine the next day, fine the day after that. So, just kinda comes with the game," he said. "I guess over a period of time, stuff like that starts to happen, but you find a way to get through it, got to play through stuff. Nobody's healthy right now."

The Eagles are 11-0 in games Brown starts this season. Sunday, they'll try to make it 12-0.
