My name is Roberto Elizondo from Monterrey, Mexico. I am the founder and one of the leaders of the official Somos Texans Mexico fan club. I have been a fan of the Texans since Day 1. From the announcement to the stadium, the uniforms, colors, logo, Drafts and even celebrating that first victory over the Cowboys on a Sunday night. I will be a Houston Texans fan until the day I die. I wanted to be part of a team that I could grow with and say that I have been there since the very beginning. I knew it was going to be difficult, because the team was new, it didn't have any well-known players yet, but I told myself "Through thick and thin, I am going to be with the Texans." Through the years, I have kept my word and have always been here to support them. The first years were complicated, but I fell in love with this team at first sight and felt an immense sense of pride being a Texans fan. When people in Mexico asked me who I liked in the 撸先生AV, and I told them about the Texans, nobody knew who I was talking about, but over time they became better known, and I no longer had to give more explanations. For many years, I thought I was the only person supporting this team in Mexico, until 2016, when the Texans came to play in Mexico City. While there, I was able to meet other Texans fans in the country who inspired me to start the fan club. I am the founder and leaders of Somos Texans in Mexico, so I help with logistics and organizing events supporting the Texans throughout Mexico, such as watch parties. When the Texans organization comes to Mexico, I make sure our fans are there to support. The love I have for this team has even led me to organize trips to Houston, where I book flights, lodging, and coordinate special activities with team representatives. The fan club also finds ways to help those in need here in Mexico and Texas when needed. When Hurricane Harvey hit Houston, we all came together to help. Besides supporting the team, another reason I wanted to come together as fans was to give back to the community and those who need it most. All the work, energy and dedication has been worth it. Many people are very happy to belong to this brotherhood and support the team. Since I decided to be a Texans fan, I decided to collect ALL THINGS Texans. I've collected more than 1,000 items, including 500 team cards, I have more than 50 jerseys, 10 helmets, 15 balls, 50 caps, flags, t-shirts, memorabilia, keychains, glasses, and much more. Becoming the Houston Texans International Fan of the Year is a dream come true for me. I LOVE MY TEAM, Go Texans!
