My name is Jonathan Ratzel, 30 years old from Karlsruhe. I'm a police officer and when I'm not working, I'm looking after my mother who needs care, working out at the gym or playing video games. Football and the Seattle Seahawks play a huge role in my life: from podcasts to my clothes to my own wedding, the Seahawks are a part of me everywhere. My wife was swept away by my love for the best sport in the world at the beginning of our relationship and has been a huge fan of the best sport in the world ever since. That's why we not only exchanged rings at our wedding ceremony, but she also received a Seahawks jersey with our wedding date and our shared surname as my first overall pick. My love for the Seahawks began on January 8, 2011 at the Divisional Game between the Saints and the Seahawks. I didn't understand the rules, nor did I know any of the teams or players. But what I saw that night could be described as love at first sight: Marshawn Lynch taking heart at 34-30, breaking 9 tackles and running 67 yards into the end zone. A moment that would go down in history as the Beast Quake and left me stunned in front of the TV. From that moment on, my enthusiasm for American football and the Seattle Seahawks grew from year to year, even if it was still very difficult at the time.
