Joshua Gargiulo

I am Josh Gargiulo and I have been involved within the Australian gridiron community as a player, administrator and coach since 2004. I am currently the Head Coach of the ACT Monarchs Women's Flag Football team.
My main passion in life is supporting the Raiders. I have always been a fan of the Raiders, beginning shortly after playing American Football for the first time in 2004. What has followed has become a lifelong love affair with the team. I have been fortunate to attend Raiders games in both Las Vegas and Oakland. I will never forget sitting in the Black Hole when we had a come from behind victory against Pittsburgh in 2018. More recently, I was fortunate enough to be in attendance for our victory against the New York Jets at Allegiant Stadium in 2023. I never miss a game of Raiders football, even if it means waking at 2am in Australia to watch it.
My other passion in life is coaching football. I have been lucky to be able to coach at every division of football in Australia (Juniors, Women's, Men's). I have also been blessed to represent both my state and country as a coach. I have been involved with Women's gridiron from its first full competitive season in 2012, all the way through to today. Being a small part of such a wonderful community has I am also fortunate to have been involved with the emergence of flag football, which has seen a rapid expansion in Australia and across the world. I recently travelled to Thailand to coach in a tournament there and was amazed at the shared passion for this sport, from such a wide array of nations.
No matter where in the world you are, you will find plenty of knowledgeable and passionate Raiders fans. Raider Nation reaches far beyond borders or boundaries, it is more than a fanbase, it is a community. It is an honour and a privilege to represent Raider Nation, and I can't wait to celebrate our coming successes with all of you.
