Laura Sandoval's fandom goes above and beyond that of a normal supporter. She has taken her adoration for the Dallas Cowboys to great heights, spending much of her free time as a Cowboys Spanish content creator based in Mexico City, MX. Laura chronicles many current and past franchise storylines, as well as team and league news, across her social media pages.
Laura also uses her social media accounts to bring Wonder Cowgirl to life; a Dallas Cowboys themed superhero cosplay character she created to represent the magic and heroism displayed by the football players that Cowboys fans idolize.
Her love for "America's Team" was born thanks to her father, who is also an avid supporter. The "Triplets Era" accounts for many of her best memories as a fan. She spent her Sundays screaming, celebrating, and even crying, all while hugging her dad; a tradition that continues to this day. From a young age, her father's stories about the heroics and perseverance of Cowboys legends such as Tom Landry and Roger Staubach were inspiring to her.
That inspiration became valuable later in life, when a hip fracture seemingly crushed her dream of participating in the New York City Marathon. Instead of giving up on the pursuit of her goals, Laura was determined to bounce back both physically and mentally. Thanks to the encouragement of her father, a successful surgery, and the toughness and determination she adopted from her admiration for the values held in the game of football, Laura completed the New York City Marathon on November 6, 2016!
Laura says that she could not share her life story without the Dallas Cowboys, as they have been "important in the formation of her character and a model of inspiration". Laura is proud to represent the Dallas Cowboys and holds her fandom with a responsibility conferred upon her by her father; "There is only one mission: make The Star shine".
