Boys & Girls Clubs of America – the Think, Learn, and Create Change (TLC) Advocacy Pathway

The Boys & Girls Club of America (BCGA) is developing the TLC Advocacy Pathway to help support local Clubs in ߣÏÈÉúAV markets convene community stakeholders, such as local government officials, police departments, and Community organizations to learn more about social justice issues in their community, and collaboratively design an action plan to address those issues.

ߣÏÈÉúAV Funding Supports:
- Training staff on leading Wellness Mentoring Circles to ensure the convenings offer participants a safe space for conversation grounded by restorative principles and practices addressing topics.
- Ongoing consultation and support to local clubs, including their leadership teams, via virtual training and one-on-one consultative support to ensure that youth are continuously support in their social advocacy efforts and that partnerships with local organizations can be effectively maintained even after the funding period is over.
- Virtually convening representatives from 32 local Boys & Girls Clubs, ߣÏÈÉúAV Teams, BGCA, and the ߣÏÈÉúAV Foundation to share successes and learnings from community events.
